New Changes In the New World Translation (NWT)

A few weeks ago, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society (WTBTS, better known as the Jehovah’s Witnesses) released their 2013 revision of the New World Translation, their translation of the Bible. Prior to the 2013 revision, the NWT already had a great deal of errors in the text, to include inserted “others” in brackets to give the impression that Christ is temporal in nature, non-adherence to the Granville Sharp construction in Titus 2:13 and 2 Pet 1:1, and the rearranging or altering of almost every Christological text which speaks to Jesus’ deity. In the past, the WTBTS was not so bold as to not document these alterations/additions to the Biblical text. But now, they have done away with the brackets that once accompanied their word additions. This can be seen in the document below, where I took screen shots of the Kingdom Interlinear Edition of the Society, the 1984 Revision, and the just released 2013 revision. Notice the differences in the text of Col 1:15-20, Phil 2:9 and 2 Pet 1:1 and how the bracketed words, which again are additional words not found in the Greek text, EVEN THEIR GREEK TEXT (nor inferred),  are removed to give the impression that this is how the text originally reads. This is deceptive on the part of the Society and yet another example of their twisting of the true nature of YHWH, the deity of the Son and the full meaning of our Triune God of Scripture. See the PDF below of these examples.
