Here’s the PowerPoint that we used in class today as we covered the Westminster Confession of Faith, chapter 8. This chapter deals with the mediation of the Lord Jesus Christ and has far reaching implications in the life of the Christian. Specifically, the mediation that the Lord provides for us before the Father and his imputed righteousness that is granted to us through his perfect law keeping (his active obedience) and his death, burial and resurrection (his passive obedience). Praise God that when the Father looks upon the Christian, He sees the Son and His perfect righteousness and not our own, because we have nothing to offer a thrice holy God!!!
