Today, I was contacted by a friend and asked if there were any textual variants in Matthew 28.19 that would draw into question baptizing in the singular name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Below is the textual data from this study and as you will see, while it is true that some folks deny that we should baptize via the Triune formula, it is likewise true that this argument cannot be generated via the text of Matthew 28.19 itself.
